1. Florida
Florida is also known as “The Sunshine State”. That says a lot, right? The average temperature here is 21.5°C for the entire year, 15.6°C in December and February and 14.5°C in January. It’s safe to say that this is a warm place anytime. The sun shines in Florida for more than 200 days on average in a year.
There are a lot of things that you can do in Florida, many attractions to visit and a lot of fun activities. For example, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex is one of the most interesting places you can visit here. It contains spacecraft displays, the Astronaut’s Hall of Fame, a Space Shuttle Launch Experience and many more. Florida has a very large number of lighthouses. They are beautiful and they are iconic images of the coast, definitely worth a bit of admiration. The average temperatures here are 21°C in December, 19°C in January and 20°C in February. There are 8 hours of sunshine on average in December, January and February and the average sea temperature in above 20°C throughout the whole winter.

The average temperatures in San José, the capital of Costa Rica, are 22°C in December and January and 24°C in February. These months are also the best time to come here, because they have the least rainy days: December – 10, January – 5, February – 3.
The wildlife in Costa Rica is one of the most wonderful things that you can admire here. The bird variety is amazing and this place is a bird watching paradise. The beaches are also some of the most beautiful you’ll get to visit: Corcovado, Dominical, Jacó, Montezuma, Playa Santa Teresa, Playa Grande, Tamarindo and Tortuguero – those are the most popular.
